Dr. Shannon attended college at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Following in his father's footsteps, he earned his medical degree at the University of Toledo College of Medicine in 2007. Dr. Shannon began his Neurosurgical training in 2007 at Westchester Medical Center/New York Medical College. He had the opportunity to work alongside his father, offering a special father-son dynamic team to their patients and community. Dr. Shannon had a great love of sports. Growing up he was an all-star basketball player. He enjoyed playing tennis and perfecting his golf swing. He was a member of the Trump National Golf Club Hudson Valley where he spent time on the green with his colleagues. He was a big fan of both college and professional football.
