Joan Adele Velez, 66, of Zanesville, passed away at her residence on August 24, 2021.
She was born on December 14, 1954, in Zanesville, daughter of Ronald Minner and Rebecca Kimble. She retired from Auto Zone Distribution Center after 17 years. She was always known to love her Bob Evans, playing Bingo, and her favorite show ‘Murder She Wrote’.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Valentin Velez; daughters, Becky (Rick) Herron, Arietta (Jarred) Holland; sons, Ronnie (Christi) Newell, Nick (Shannon) Newell, Carl (Julia) Newell, Blane(Tiffany) Davis; sister, Janene (Lonnie) Watts; brother-in-law, Gary Bryan; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Jane Bryan; granddaughter, Brenlynn Ann Davis.
Calling hours will be held on Friday August 27, 2021 at 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM, where services will begin at 1:00 PM with David Nuhfer officiating.
