About	Carol L. Hansel, 80, of Zanesville, passed away at 9:10 p.m. Friday August 6, 2021 at Altercare of Zanesville. She was born on April 9, 1941 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Tony and Rosanna (Kleinhoffer) Hansel. She worked at AK Steel in the office for 44 years. She was a member of Brighton Presbyterian Church, was an Elder, member of Rebecca Circle. She loved to read, travel to Gatlinburg, Tennessee and visit family and friends. She is survived by a great nephew Carlton Thompson. Nephew-in-law Randy Thompson. Niece Britt, great nieces Paisley and Emmy. A dear friend Tammy Wiseman. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and brother-in-law Laura and Carl Shipley, a niece Jane Thompson. A caring cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
