Rebecca Lynn Mahle, 77, passed May 4, 2021 in Sarasota, Florida. She was born November 22, 1944 to Joseph and Roberta Howell. She graduated from Ohio Northern University and taught school in Dayton, Ohio before moving to Columbus. A talented entrepreneur, she launched social dancing and cotillion classes which she led for several years. She later established her own home design firm where she conceived everything from home decor, remodeling, blueprints, and sub-contracting new construction. Although Becky was successful in the business world, her greatest success was her family. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Michael J. Mahle; a son, Michael J Mahle II (Jennifer); a sister, Kathleen Ormond; a brother, John Howell (Ann); two grandsons, Joseph and Gregory Mahle; nephews, John Ormond (Shelley) and Brian Ormond (Lisa); and nieces, Amy Wren (David) and Erin Straine (Dan). Her parents preceded her in death. Becky is greatly missed by her family and many friends in Florida and Ohio. A celebration of life will be held in Zanesville, Ohio at a later date.
