Carol Sue Bowden, 23, of 72 B. East Woodruff Ave., Columbus, formerly of Zanesville, died of massive head injuries at 11:30 pm Friday in Columbus after she fell off a motorcycle on Interstate 71 and was hit by a passing car.
She was born August 28, 1958, in Albuquerque, NM, a daughter of Charles and Barbara Spragg Bowden of 2950 Lovers Lane. She was a 1976 graduate of Zanesville High School and a June 1981 graduate of the Ohio State University with a degree in communications.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Georgeanna Spragg of 723 Merrick Ave.; her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Gladys Bowden of Albuquerque; two aunts, Mrs. Charles (Anita) Forker of 2140 Chewelah Ave. and Mrs. Lloyd (Doris) Petty of 2458 Clay Pike; and an uncle, Richard Spragg, of Indiana Rocks Beach, Florida.
Burial will be in Memorial Park.
