A beautiful heart stopped beating Easter Sunday April 4, 2021.
Everett Ellis Guthrie Jr., age 72, born September 11, 1948 in Spencer, West Virginia; son of the late Everett Guthrie Sr. and Amma Boothe Guthrie, passed away Easter Sunday with his loving family by his side.
Everett was a veteran of the U.S. Army, performing as a Rocket Crewman. Later, he worked many years at Ohio Ferro Alloy Steel and then at Owens Brockway Glass. He was also a Master Mason of the Grand Lodge F. & A.M. of Ohio La Fayette Lodge No. 79.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Margaret Guthrie; sons, Heath Guthrie, Chad Guthrie; brothers, Gary Lee (Rite) Guthrie, James (Francis) Guthrie; sisters, Melody White; grandchildren, Gabrielle Lynn Guthrie, Cale Ellis Guthrie, and Cheyanne Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett Guthrie Sr. and Amma Boothe Guthrie.
Per his wishes, a private visitation and burial were held.
