Erma Jean McNeish, 88 of Zanesville died at 12:40 A.M. Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Oaks at Bethesda.
She was born December 27, 1931 in Zanesville the daughter of Oscar McGrath and Cora Spenser McGrath.
Jean was Methodist by faith, a homemaker most of her life, a past member of the West Muskingum Lions Club, and also a bookkeeper who provided service to help people with their taxes. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Clyde and spending time with family, especially with her grandchildren & great grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter, Cindy (Art) Snider; grandchildren, Angela (Chris) Blackstone, Julie (Joe) Higdon & Jodi (Rick) Creeks; Great Grandchildren, Avery & Jackson Blackstone, Maxwell, twins Annabelle & Penelope Higdon & Claire Creeks; several nieces & nephews; and special family friends, Bill & Becky Cooper.
In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde F. McNeish Sr., her son, Clyde F. ”Mickey” McNeish Jr. ; 3 siblings, Elton “Mac” McGrath, Donald “Speed” McGrath and Nina Winner.
No public visitation or services will be observed. The family will have a private service and burial at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery later.
