About	Derrik Alan Stemm, 24, of Zanesville, passed away Friday, April 5, 2019. Derrik was born December 24, 1994 to Charles W. Moore and Sheila A. Stemm. In addition to his parents, Derrik leaves behind to mourn his passing, his sisters, Audrianna (Destiny), Sara (Kevin), and Hannah; his children, Tayleanna, Kay’Aaliyah, Amara and Dar’tavion; half siblings, Ladeja, Akyla, and Jerrod; step-mother, Christmas Sholler; grandmother, Vickie Chapman; special uncle and father figure, Russell (Candy) Stemm, Jr.; uncles, Jason (Denise) Stemm, James (Jill) Stemm; several other family members, and many friends. Derrik is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ethel P. (Devoll) Stemm, Russell A. Stemm, and Clifford Chapman; twin nieces, Delilah and Penelope Sanderson; and an aunt, Laura Stemm. Derrik played football for Zanesville High School. He loved softball, and enjoyed outdoor activities such as fishing. Derrik could bring laughter to any room. Above all else, he loved his children very much. He will be greatly missed by many. The family wishes to extend thanks to two of Derrik’s special friends, Matt Devoll and James Aikens, for all their support during this difficult time. You may call on the family Thursday, April 11, 2019 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m., with funeral service to follow at 12 p.m., at Burrell Funeral Services. Cremation will follow.
