Linda Barnes Bunting, 54, of 1650 Jackson Road, Zanesville, died at 12:14 pm Monday, September 8, 1997 at her residence.
Born July 10, 1943, in Bellville, she was a resident of this area for most of her life, where she graduated from Zanesville High School in 1961, where she was voted Homecoming Queen and was an employee of Bethesda Hospital Lab. Mrs. Bunting was a memeber of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her father, Jack R. Barnes of Zanesville: her husband, James E. Bunting, whom she married May 25, 1962: one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Kevin Bush of Millersport; two sons and daughters-in-law, Eric and Lue Bunting of London, and Scott and Wendy Bunting of Zanesville; six grandchildren, Joshus, Jarrod and Emily Bush, and Keely, James Todd (JT)) and Madison Bunting; one sister, Judy Zinn of Zanesville; one brother and sister-in-law, Phillip and Sue Barnes of Medina ;and her mother-in-law, Alice Bunting of Zanesville.
She was prceded in death by her mother, Helen E. Brown Barnes, who died September 25, 1996.
Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
