Dorothy Jean Porter, 92, of East Fultonham, passed away at 1:30 p.m. Sat. Aug. 11, 2018 at The Oaks at Bethesda. She was born on Sept. 18, 1925 in East Fultonham, a daughter of the late Harry Rose, Sr. and Pearl (Mauk) Rose. She was a homemaker and a member of East Fultonham United Methodist Church. She is survived by her son Gary (Janet) Porter. Three grandchildren John, Angela, and Benjamin. Four great-grandchildren Evan, Aiden, MacKenna, and Khari. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Porter and her brother Harry “Pete” Rose, Jr. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon Friday August 17, 2018 at WILLIAM THOMPSON & SON FUNERAL HOME 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where a memorial service will follow at 12:00 p.m. Pastor John Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in Fultonham Cemetery.
