About Me	Moved to Colorado to snowboard and accidentally got a teaching job. Taught in the inner-city and co-founded an outdoor adventure program, funded by Catholic Charities, for at risk youth. Burned out after three years of gang violence and a divorce. Came to Wv to be a river guide at 32. Worked for a traveling high school for whitewater kayakers called Huge Experiences where I taught history and government, traveled to New Zealand and Chile, got bit by a rattle snake, had a near death experience in a kayak, and had a head on collision in New Zealand because they drive on the wrong side of the road. Now, I am working on planting some roots here in West Virginia with my new husband Bobby. I am teaching 7th and 8th grade Language Arts at a local middle school. Bobby and I recently married on an eighteen day river trip through the Grand Canyon.
