| About Me | After living for many years in Rhode Island, I moved to Oro Valley where the sun shines a lot more and where if I want snow I can drive to it rather than have to shovel it. I have fallen in love with the land here and enjoy hiking whenever. After high school, I attended Humboldt State University for two years and then enlisted in the US Navy n the nuclear power program. I enjoyed engineering, so I attended University of Washington under a ROTC scholarship and graduated in 1985 with a degree in Engineering. I was commissioned for approximately 7 years; afterwards, I attended University of Rhode Island and got my bachelor's, master's, and doctorate degrees in Psychology. I worked in Research at Brown University, the Institute for Community Research in Hartford, CT, and taught at the Rhode Island School of Design.
