About Me	I am a fun-loving,sports fanatic, a student, a hardworker,a leader, a great friend, loving daughter, awesome women of God, adores my familia, latina fire, passionate about my relationship w/Jesus & madly in love w/my husband Josh!!! My fave Bible Verse & the one I reference to daily- "Trust in the Lord with all your heart & lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6 So you want to know some stuff about me? Well here it goes. I'm originally from L.A. near downtown & USC area. I grew up in the ghetto and for more info on my past you are just going to have to message me. Anyways when I was 18 I moved to Vegas to attend UNLV (Go Rebels!!!) Then something extraordinary happen to me. I was radically changed & I knew even though things could get really bad, I knew I was going to be okay. I came to know my savior in such a an intimate way in the Fall of 2002. Thanks to much prayer from friends & patience from others, I came to know the Lord. Since that day I try to live a life like Jesus & share the gospel to others. In Vegas I did inner city ministry & God even commissioned me to work in the inner city of North Las Vegas and start a brand new ministry. (Hey check out clubchrist.org & become a donor!!!) After I volunteered & worked at the Dream Center of Las Vegas in the West Side of Vegas & North Las Vegas. Check it out-lasvegasdreamcenter.org It is a great church where I grew in my relationship with Christ but learned many new skills such as media, adopt-a-block, youth group, administration, outreaches, planning & organizing & much more. I was apart of a great college group Intervarsity Christian Fellowship & met great friends & mentors. It's thru Intervarsity that I came to know Jesus. I did so many things in Vegas & had many jobs. I was a hotel nanny, a Starbucks Barista, a Youth Advocate for juvenile probation, a bank teller, an Administrative Assistant @the Dream Center of L.V., a Family Specialist,a Program Director. I then moved to La Verne to be with family. I started attending The L.A. Dream Center (dreamcenter.org)/ Angelus Temple & I found a job @ the County Housing Authority. Then I moved 2 LA. My father passed away 6 months after I moved back 2 Cali and I was very thankful to the Lord that he led me back here so I can be with my father. After my dad died, I lived with my moms. Then the best thing happened to me. I realized that a guy I had a huge crush on and we were just friends caught my eye. I started falling in love with Josh Philip Cornwall at a Angelus Temple Small Group Leadership retreat (Thanks James Gann 4 hooking us up lol) and sparks flew. I always wanted a man to sweep me off my feet and rescue me from stuff but I thought it was only in fairy tales. My fave princess story is Sleeping Beauty so I always wanted Prince Philip to rescue me. Well he literally did. Josh's middle name is Philip! Go figure! We soon dated and then he proposed. We then got married and love our life together. Last year-I started college again & I'll graduate in February 2015. I quit my job & moved to Houston for Josh's work. I'm back in LA but hope to travel more!!! (FYI) I now attend Journey of Faith in Manhattan Beach and its changing my life! So grateful for my church & the community it has brought to my life! For fun I love to hang out with my family, my friends, go watch movies, go to the gym, hiking & basically anything that is fun to do...oh yeah & watch my fave shows like Big Bang Theory, 30 Rock, Revenge, Once Upon a Time, Grey's Anatomy, Drop Dead Diva, & etc. Anyways too much info I'm done.
