| About Me | I became Miss Springfield, and competed in Miss Illinois and was a Community Service Award winner. The following year I became Miss Heart of Illinois and this time was a Talent Award winner as well as a top 10 contestant. Then I graduated from Eureka College. That summer I married the man of my dreams. We are going on 7 years and are going strong. Matt and I have 2 beautiful children. Garrett (6) and Makenna (4) I am a full time stay at home mother, but I also sub for our preschool where my children attend. I currently serve on the ECNS school Board as the Vice Chair. Several years ago a little boy was hit by a car in Eureka. Following that I was the representative from ECNS that worked on a task force to receive finds from the safe kids of Illinois, to pay for two sets of flashing yellow lights outside of our school zones.
