Lauren Nicole Mahoney
Age 26, of Pittsburgh, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. Lauren was the beloved and adored daughter of Glenn E. and Donna L. (Waggett) Mahoney; loving sister of Samantha (Sean Kelley) Mahoney, and Shannon (Nick Murray) Mahoney; and dear granddaughter of Henrietta Waggett, the late Warren Waggett, James and Sally Mahoney. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. There's small solace in knowing Lauren is reunited in Heaven with her ever-faithful, furry companion Chance, who preceded her.
Arrangements by BEINHAUER-CONNELL, 5120 West Library Ave., Bethel Park, 15102, 412-835-7940, where friends and family are welcome Sunday 4-6 p.m. to celebrate the life of Lauren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Yorkville High School Band Boosters, at https://www.yorkvillemusic.org/boosters, as Lauren’s high school band and her profound love of music brought her so much joy in life. The booster program provides financial assistance to students who cannot otherwise afford to participate in the musical arts. The integration of music into children’s and teens’ lives resonated deeply with Lauren’s values and seems like the best way to honor her memory.
