Favorite School Memory	Defeating state ranked Muncie Central in the 1972 Muncie Sectional to become the first county team to win the Muncie Sectional. This win was followed by a big win the following week over Kent Benson and previously #1 ranked New Castle in the regional. Yorktown then made it a repeat our senior year in 1973 by defeating Muncie's big three (Central, state-ranked Northside, and Southside) to claim their second straight title. We also w...(read more)
About Me	Upon graduation from Ball State in 1977 I began a career in Accounting, working at a bank for two years and Ball Corp for four years. I married in 1980 and we had our first child, a daughter, in 1984. I then enjoyed being a stay-at-home Mom for a few years, adding a son to our family in 1987. When they were very young I started a Newcomer program at our church and served as its first Director of Assimilation. In 1993 I went back to part-time Accounting work at Ball Associates, where I stayed for five years.
