| About Me | I look at life in such a positive light. No matter what we all go through in our lives ... it is how we react and come out that matters. We make our own paths ... and I choose happiness with our Lord! I'm a female (duh! haha). I'm 48 years old. I just re-married. I have 4 children (son age 24, son age 21, daughter age 18 and daughter age 10). I own my own businesses. Not as glamorous as it sounds though. I do daycare in my home. I've been doing this for ... 20 years now. I also do transcription at home which brings in a little extra $$$ for our vacations and such. :) I live in Kettering (go Firebirds!!). I've lived in the same house now for 19 years. In my freetime (hahahahaha), I enjoy going to the movies, reading, redecorating my house, crafts (cross stitching), walking (enjoy is probably not the right word there!), just getting out of the house for a drive, playing pool, ping pong and board games or cards, going to sporting events (my kids are in many), playing with my dogs, dancing (would LOVE LOVE LOVE to learn how to line dance and even to ballroom dance). I am a Christian and this aspect of my life is very important to me. I am not very *politically correct* as I believe in what scripture says and not what *man* might say in regards to morals. I attend a Baptist church. I would like to do some volunteer work within the church (or maybe even go on a missions trip), but that may have to wait until some of my kids leave the nest. I do love to sing too. I have a rather warped sense of humor too. I love to laugh and believe laughter can diffuse some uncomfortable situations and just make life more enjoyable in general!
