About	Brent A. Bartelt March 28, 1953 - August 28, 2011 Brent A. Bartelt, 58, of Xenia, passed away Sunday morning at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born March 28, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Edward and Ida Mae (Maack) Bartelt. He was retired from 30 years of commercial flooring and most recently was a bus driver for the Greene County Headstart. Brent was an avid cyclist. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Marsha “Marty” (Stewart) Bartelt, daughter, Brittany Bartelt Guffy, grandsons, Aidan Bartelt and Liam Guffy, sister, Bonnie Jasper, mother-in-law, Joan Stewart, sisters-in-law, Marilyn (Jerry) Huffman and Kathy (Garry) Zink, and by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Brian, son-in-law, Tony, and father-in-law, Frank Stewart. A special thank you to the staff of the MICU, HVIC, SICU, Dr. Steve Chambers and Dr. Phillip Williams of Miami Valley Hospital for outstanding care and compassion. Memorial services will be held at 4pm, Wednesday, August 31, 2011, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Visitation with the family will be held at 3pm Wednesday, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the charity of choice in Brent’s name.
