About	Scot joined the Navy just after high school. He served from 1985 to1987. He sailed on the Missouri, also known as 'The Mighty Mo'. He was honorably discharged from the Navy and returned to Xenia. He attended Sinclair Community College where he met the woman he married and got his nursing degree. Togethor they had 2 boys. He joined the Xenia Township Fire Department as a volunteer fire fighter and paramedic. He left the fire department and soon divorced. He took a job at Miami Valley Hospital in the NICU. He started dating Rita Mason Pflager (class of 1985). On 11/5/2009 her daughter had a daughter. He was nicknamed 'Pappy Scoots". On 11/25/2009 Scot suffered a massive stroke on the left side. The swelling from the left side damaged the right side. On 12/1/2009 he passed away. He will be missed by all.
