About Bryan Edwin Pence, 61, of North Olmsted, Ohio, formerly of Xenia, went Home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on January 23, 2019 surrounded by loved ones in Canton GA .
He was born March 4, 1957, in Xenia, Ohio, the son of Wayne Edwin and Mary Lou (Dodd) Pence. He is survived by his wife, Judy (Anderson) Pence, whom he married, December 4, 1976, - his children, Joshua (Tracy) Pence, Murfreesboro, TN, Amanda (Adam) Darwish, Canton, GA, , and Aaron (Cathy) Pence, Denver, CO, nine grandchildren – Alexis, Alayla, Ayden and Amira Darwish, of Canton, GA, Noah, Alex and Ella Pence, of Murfreesboro, TN and Zebadiah and Madeline Pence, of Denver, CO; his Mother, Mary Lou Pence of Xenia, his brother, Rick (Patty) Pence, his sisters, Connie Pence and Vickie Carey, by many extended family members and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne E. Pence, Father-in-Law, Roland (Andy) Anderson, his brother-in-law’s, Alex Anderson and Shea Carey and by his niece, Tara Jaynes.
He was employed by Nueva Luz Urban Resource Center as Nutrition Coordinator where he lovingly cared for his clients. He was also a Licensed Massage Therapist in Ohio.
Bryan was a simple, quiet, selfless man full of strength and beauty. His embrace was full of healing and comfort. He had a heart for worship and a child-like faith. Through his selfless-ness he showed Christ by loving and serving others. His last words were “Thank You Jesus.”
Services will be held at Xenia Nazarene Church, 1204 W. Second St., Xenia, with his brother in law, Rev. Eric Anderson and dear friend Rev. Mike Dennis officiating on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 10 AM and Visitation will be Friday, February 1, 2019, from 3 PM – 7 PM at the church. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Xenia.
