I entered active duty in the regular Navy on October 27th 1970 and received the rating of CTT (Communications Technician "T" Branch) now designated as Cryptologic Technician. Following successive tours of duty at Correy Field, Pensacola, Florida, NSGA Keflavik, Iceland and NSGA Winter Harbor, Maine. I was discharged from active duty on October 26th 1974 and assigned to the Naval Reserves at the NSGA Reserve station in Tucson, Arizona where I continued to serve until honorably discharged from the Reserves in September 1976.

I have been stationed with the 101st Airborne, 82nd Airborne, 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment 1/506th infantry, 1/46th infantry, 5/87th infantry, 1/9 infantry, awards Combat Infantryman's Badge (w/star). Bronze star medal, Meritorious service medal, Army commendation medal, Army acheivement medal to name just a few. I retired from the Army in 2011 now reside in Texas where I am employed as a conductor with BNSF railway.
