| About Me | I grew up in Bucyrus, Ohio. I was a city girl until the 7th grade when we moved to the country. I graduated in 1982. Didn't really do much with my life until I felt God leading me to to a little island in the Marshall Islands called Ebeye in 1988. That was a life changing experience. It's where I really learned to depend on God. I worked as a Missionary teacher at the SDA school there. I felt like I was walking into another world when I first arrived. My love grew instantly for the kids there. I knew without a doubt that it was where the Lord wanted me to be. I would try to leave at the end of the school year only to arrive back at the beginning of the next new school year. :) I served 6 years total but they weren't all consecutive. A part of my heart will always be there. I am blessed by some of my students staying in touch with me. I can't wait for a grand reunion in Heaven some day. I am now married to a wonderful man.
