About Me	I was born and raised in Wooster, Ohio and graduated from BGSU in 1973. Started teaching in Wooster City Schools in 2003 and was married in 1976 to a man who also taught in Wooster. We had 2 children, Jay and Liza (used to be Beth)...Jay is now 30, and is living in Idaho attending college to get a degree in Forestry, Liza is in Kingman AZ, engaged to a man who's a son to me already, and had a son Jake, age 8, who's the best grandson there ever was! Liza's working towards a degree in Finance, raising Jake, and working alongside her honey John in his businesses. I was divorced in 2000, retired from Wooster City Schools in 2003, decided to really change my life and moved to Arizona a month after I retired...talk about landing in another world! In AZ I taught preschool, elementary Art for a semester (!), and tried out substitute teaching. I also tried out different types of volunteering and then decided to become a consultant for Discovery Toys in 2003. My business started to grow and now it's my full time job! I get to help parents help their children and have fun at the same time..nothing is better than that! Take a look at www. learnthroughplaying.com! Two years ago I met an amazing man on Eharmony,Tom Gerstung, and we were married a year ago, November 28th! This past December we decided to move back to Wooster to help take of mom, 86, who's been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. We were lucky enough to find a house to rent right around the corner from the house where I grew up! The biggest adjustment is for our dog, Sadie, who's a 7 yr. old AZ dog.....looks at the white stuff on the ground and thinks "you've got to be kidding me!", is having her first experience with steps and refuses to come down by herself, and when she does get down, goes skidding across the hardwood floors until she can get herself to come to a stop!
