Wooster Speech and Debate Book

My name is Morgan O'Rourke (2010). 2011-2012 is the one hundredth anniversary of the Wooster Speech and Debate team. My father and I are gathering information to write a book about the subject. Wooster has attended nationals 62 times, more than any other school in the country. We have an extraordinary record of success that we should be proud of. Coaches Caldwell, Mr. Pollock, Mr. Naedlin, Ms. Pierce (Keating), and of course, Mrs. Althoff - three of whom are Hall of Fame coaches. We would love to hear your stories and memories at:

Memoir to be published about Freedlander's in 2012!

Ann Freedlander Hunt will have her book, "Gone but Not Forgotten A Freedlander Legacy" published this year. Although there are several steps to be completed, she is currently taking pre-orders. The book is not available yet. Retail price has yet to be established, but it will be under $20.00.

The memoir includes not only the history of our beloved store, but also includes stories from over 150 customers/employees. (You probably know some of them). World and local history is also woven throughout this very special keepsake. Contact Ann . She would love to hear from you.
