About Me	I attended Millikin University and earned a degree in Speech Communication. Got drafted and spent 2 years in the 60th Army Band at Ft. Polk, LA playing trombone. Spent another 2 years at Ft. Polk directing plays at the post theater. Wound up with a choice between a fellowship to earn an MFA in Theater from the U. of New Orleans or becoming Dir. of Alumni & Parent Relations at Millikin. Chose the latter which began my 42-year career in fundraising and institutional advancement. Met Gwenn in Baltimore and we married in 1982. She's a reference librarian. Daughter Emily born in 1991.
