Kim (Gene) Mortimer (class of 71) passed away in August 2008
Michelle (class of 72), Gene Mortimer's sister, is planning to attend the Class of 71 reunion the August to collect video memories of her brother for his family. Jerry Wayne Pugh, class of 1968 passed away.
Jerry Pugh, class of 1968, passed away on March 19, 2011. Jerry and his wife Lynne had lived in Houston, TX, for the past 35 years. He worked for, and was retired from, the Air National Guard. During both his Air National Guard and active Air Force duty, he worked as an Air Force instrument technician.

John Foutch (Class of 87) passes
RIP- John Marvin Foutch (5/1/1969 - 4/10/2010) John Foutch, 40, passed away, April 10, 2010. I'm told he died at home, suffering respiratory distress, leading to a heart attack. He last lived in Indian Trail, NC. I called Mecklenberg County, NC Vital Statistics office and verified this information this morning.
John was active in Swimming, Vocal Music, and Theatre.
He went to Glen Oak School then Washington Gifted School and entered WHS in the Fall of 1983.
John was popular and had many friends.
