About Me	My biographical sketch, etc is on my personal home web site: www.dasharpe.com I am a fifth generation Texan, my earliest ancestor arrived in Texas to take an immigration oath to become a citizen of the Republic of Texas in 1841. My earliest ancestor to arrive in America is William Bradford, my seventh great grandfather, the man who became Governor of the Plymouth Colony started by those stalwart passengers of the Mayflower who arrived in 1620. My earliest Sharpe relatives came in a group of 3,000 German Palatines who arrived in New York in 1710 and settled up the Hudson River in what became the town of Germantown, NY.
