Helicopter Pilot, Vietnam 1967-1968. Awarded the "Distinguished Flying Cross" for heroism. Subsequent to 4 years of active duty, served 34 more years as a helicopter and fixed-wing aviator in the Army Reserves. Currently CEO of AV-OPS Aviation Consulting Group, LLC.

Steve served with 83 CML MORTAR BN - WORLD WAR ll Enlisted 17 March 1943-Went overseas in October 1943
Served in 5 campaigns Africa, Italy, Belgium, Germany, and Austria. He was an expert in the chemical warfare service Steve died at age 20.
WWll Veteran died one month after he wrote home to say he would be home in later June or early July 1945. Sadly his body was not flown home until November 1948 and funeral was in January 1949
