Youth and Celebrity Football Camp Sponsorship

Woodrow Wilson High School Football Team would like to invite our faculty members to sponsor youth camp participants for our first annual Youth and Celebrity Football Camp. This spectacular all day event will be held June 23, 2012 at Woodrow Wilson High School Football field in Portsmouth, Virginia. This camp will have up to 400 children who are striving to be dynamic football players from the entire Hampton Roads area. The cost per child is $25.00 which will include providing each youth with a camp t-shirt, lunch and a gift bag filled with promotional items from our sponsors. We are requesting your support and presence at this inaugural event so that it will be successful by assisting us in giving the less fortunate youth an opportunity to participate in this event. Your sponsorship will support youth throughout Hampton Roads.

This event will include a meet and greet with local fans and media day at Roger Brown's Restaurant in Portsmouth, Virginia on Friday, June 22, 2012. This event will include a silent auction with various NFL memorabilia donated by various NFL athletes and teams. This fundraising event will assist the Woodrow Wilson High School football team with purchasing new equipment and uniforms for the upcoming 2012 football season. The primary source of funding for this event is from local businesses from the Hampton Roads area and various NFL teams. The Youth and Celebrity Football Camp does not receive governmental funding.

We are giving local youth of the Hampton Roads area ages 8 to17 an opportunity to interact and be mentored by local professional athletes currently on the rosters of various teams within the National Football League. By sponsoring a child to participate in this event, you will be giving these children the opportunity of a lifetime. The theme of this event is Iron Sharpens Iron. The theme was selected because the youth of Hampton Roads need to have their skills sharpened to become successful athletes. A mentor session with the NFL athletes will be a part of the camp, during that time the youth will have the opportunity to ask questions and will be given feedback.

Your participation and support will help assure the success of the Youth and Celebrity Football Camp for future years. We are requesting to have all youth sponsors to respond with payments by Friday, June 7, 2012. Please let Ms. Hill know that this is for the Varsity Football Camp. This will allow the coordinators enough time to special order the t-shirt for the camp participants and prepare other items for the campers. Please do not hesitate to reach Chanda Copelin at (757) 513-4660, Ellen Reaves (757) 354-5035 or Erica Benison at (757)472-5196 with any questions or concerns. Our email address is sponsorship@ycfc2012.com. Thank you in advance for your support.

Sincerely,
Curtis Williams-Head Football Coach
