About	James, husband of Dr. Charleen Evans-Thomas, passed away in Ormond Beach, FL where he had resided for 20 years. He worked in WV as an employment counselor and as social services worker. Upon his marriage in 1969, he moved to PA where he worked for the Veterans Administration in Personnel. Receiving a Master's Degree (WVU), he became a guidance counselor in grades k-12 and vocational school. He retired from Montgomery County Public Schools, MD James also taught business classes at Garrett County Community College. In FL he served as Director on his HOA Board, enjoyed his baby grand piano and his electric organ, reading and surfing the net. He was a 32 Degree Mason, a Shriner, member of the Moose and Elks. Friends have described James as one of the finest gentle, gentlemen that they have known. His widow agrees.
