About Me	Since enlisting the Navy just after graduation via the buddy system with Pat Hern, I was detailed to the Presidential Honor Guard in Washington D.C. where I Served during the Nixon/Ford/Carter years. After that tour I went to Nuclear Welding school in SD, California. Graduated in 1979 and went to sea. I met my first ship USS Nimitz in Athens Greece.
