| About Me | Joanne L Ortolan earned an undergraduate degree in Business Administration with emphasis in information technology and a Masters of Business Administration. Current credentials include Registered Medical Manager, Compliance Officer, RAC Auditor, Professional Coder, IRO for the Office of Inspector General and certified ICD-10 trainer. PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY: Ms. Ortolan began her career with one of the nation’s largest (at the time) individual insurer where she held roles in the Marketing, Information Technology and Strategic Planning departments having responsibilities under the executive vice president. While employed by Ernst and Young in critical technology cross sector healthcare; Ms. Ortolan was one of the original members of the formation of Covisint and participated in the development of the EDI messaging and business community structure. Ms. Ortolan went on to hold a director of managed care where she served as project lead for United Health Care’s national implementation of PPO. Along with two other partners in 2003 Ms. Ortolan founded InterMedCorp which is a healthcare services company providing medical billing, chart audit and consulting services. Ms. Ortolan is currently VP at Xerox specializing in ICD-10 and Accountable Care.
