| About Me | I went to schol in Radford, Va for 1/4. Then to NVCC for a few yrs, Then graduated from George Wash. University as an Art Major. I married a diver in the military, Mark Rhodes. He and I moved to Louisiana in 74 when he got a job with a Diving Co. in Louisiana. We were living in New Orleans area for 6 yrs and then moved to Franklinton, La. in 1980. It is a small town 1 1/2 hrs. north of N.O. We had 2 children. Shawn our son was born in 77. He went to SLU and later to school in Dallas. He is now a medical assistant in Dallas. Shannon our daughter was born in 83. She got a Degree in Sociology, but has been working as a Padi Diving instructor in the US, Mexico and Central America. I was an antique dealer while my kids were younger and had a shop across the street from our home. In 1994 I became an art teacher at Bogalusa High, (30 min. away). Mark and I split up in 1999. We are still good friends and our family is very close. I remarried in 2001 to Tim Prator...we still live here in the same house in Franklinton. He graduated from USM. He is a landscaper and interior painter. We love to travel in summer when I am not teaching.
