Phil Welch, 63 of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed from this life on Sunday, May 12, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital with family by his side. He was born August 26, 1955 in Alexandria, Virginia to his parents, John Edward Welch and Shirley Mae Fulton Welch.Phil is survived by his daughter, Tammy Kay Strickland and her husband Chris of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; two sons, Todd Kirkland and his wife Danielle of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Matthew Phillip Welch of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; his father, John Welch of Stafford, Virginia; two brothers, Chuck Welch (Kathy) of Stafford, Virginia and Marty Welch (Terrie) of Boynton Beach, Florida; one sister, Lori Brown and her husband George of Alexandria, Virginia; five grandsons, Barton Strickland, Cody Kirkland, Shane Kirkland, Jesse Kirkland and Joshua Phillip Kirkland; his three dogs, Koufax, Rizzo and Theo; and several nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Mae Fulton Welch and his wife, Janet Kay Welch.Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 17, 2019 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel followed by a reception at the Floral Haven Family Reception Center. Burial will follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
