Class of 1962
Navy, 4 Years
Worked in Communications for Commander Seventh Fleet traveling through out the oceans of South East Asia abord the USS Providence and the Oklahoma City. After that duty was up was transfered to the beautiful Delta of Vietnam to serve out my last year of military duty then returned to the states quite unwillinglly to be discharged and seek other ways of enjoying myself.
The military I found not to be that enjoyable but to a degree well worth every minute of it.

Aviation Logistics and those wonderful computers.. 15 Carriers, 3 small boys and many places for shore duty.... Loved it all, but had to retire and get a real job.....

Our Wood River High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Wood River High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated. All of us in Hailey are proud of our military alumni and want to thank them for risking their lives to protect our country!
