Lisa Hurwitz Enfield died tragically from a bicycle accident in Boca Raton the morning of her 66th birthday. Raised in Jacksonville, Lisa was the daughter of Arthur & Marion "Mickey" Hurwitz (of blessed memory) and sister of Steven Hurwitz. Lisa was a graduate of Wolfson High School and
Wellesley College and attended UF law school. Based in South Florida, Lisa specialized in Immigration Law, representing scores of individuals and businesses during her nearly 40-year career-her abiding professional goal to help families in their pursuit of coming to our country
legally and building productive lives. Lisa married her life partner, Steve, in 1983, and together they raised wonderful sons, traveled the world, including countless trips to Israel, and reveled in what they had established together, grateful always for and devoted to each other. Lisa was
beloved by so many, her enthusiasm and dynamic spirit wonderful to behold. That Lisa died on her 66th birthday and doing an activity she loved just is unfathomable to her family, who now grieve the incalculable loss of a loved one so precious. Lisa forever will be of blessed memory to
her family: father, Arthur, Ponte Vedra Beach; brother, Steven (Pitzy), St. Petersburg; husband, Steve, Boca Raton; children, Benjamin, Daniel (Louise), Nathan (Sarah); brother-in-law, Ted (Carol); nieces, Marissa and Patricia; and nephew, Andrew Fernanda). Finally, Lisa forever will be a blessing to treasured grandchildren, Nathaniel and Esme. A private family burial service was held Feb. 16th in Ponte Vedra Beach.
