I am writing regarding my father james arthur (jim) adkins who o think was in the class of 1937. he is deceased.. but i have been trying to find pictures of him in his younger days. if your aunt might still be alive could you ask her if she might by any chance remember a boy by that name? i am not positive of the year. my mother (still living) is attendeing her class of 39 reunion this year.. and as daddy was two years older that is my guess. however.. the war came you know. he was selected by col paul tibbits for the 509th composite group of 15 B29s which composed the first atomic strike force. i just am trying to find a place to buy an old annual if possible. he was a hansome young man... i can send pic of him if your aunt is still with us. ALTHOUGH mommy turned 83 last month and was born in 21... so you see my plight? i am not sure of dates .. he was a flight engineer so and hand picked so not an unexceptional student. and i think he played a little football maybe .although he was slight build. maybe quarterback? he came to manchester ohio to a little college called holbrook to play football but;then; the war broke out. sincerely, leandra adkins rossman/ fromleandra@sbcglobal.net or leandragail44@yahoo.com both emails come directly to me. so it doesn't matter which one to use. please and thank you/leandra

1937 Graduate
I am writing on behalf of my great aunt- Sylvia Gerber Craddock. She is still currently receiving you newsletters and will be 92 in August. This June will be her 75th graduation year from Withrow HS. She was wondering if there are any other graduates still living from her class. She now lives in Melbourne, Fla.
