About Me I know a little bit of everything so i could talk for hours and not realize it. i love people, food, movies, and much much more just ask me. I will not let myself be a failure. I will rise above the top as long as the hare is still sleeping at the race. The hare is just a show off never did people any good expect for his big ego. The turtle and hare story is my life story. what I am trying to say is do not give up even if the odds are not in your favor. I will climb Mount Everest (meta fore) almost there though. It has been a great noble undertaking. The journey to get my edumacation will never stop. I will continue to purse even higher education (bachelors degree) for my secondary education focus in history. I plan on being the best history teacher known on the east coast. I plan on using unique methods of teaching not the norm at all. My use of multimedia, groups and plays will help to bring history alive. I am also considering non profit administration.Again a bachelors degree. It will depend on who takes all my credits. So far it looks like Rosemont for Education or Easton for Non Profit Administration. I will refuse to let the system to beat me. Look below to get inside my brain. " I think now, looking back, we did not fight the enemy; we fought ourselves. The enemy was in us. The war is over for me now, but it will always be there, the rest of my days... But be that as it may, those of us who did make it have an obligation to build again. To teach to others what we know, and to try with what's left of our lives to find a goodness and a meaning to this life." A quote from Platoon President Thomas Whitmore: "Good morning. In less than an hour, aircraft from here will join others from around the world. And you will be launching the largest aerial battle in the history of mankind. "Mankind." That word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps it's fate that today is the Fourth of July, and you will once again be fighting for our freedom... Not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution... but from annihilation. We are fighting for our right to live. To exist. And should we win the day, the Fourth of July will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day the world declared in one voice: "We will not go quietly into the night!" We will not vanish without a fight! We're going to live on! We're going to survive! Today we celebrate our Independence Day!" -Independence Day Dr. Emmett Brown: Then tell me, "Future Boy", who's President in the United States in 1985? Marty McFly: Ronald Reagan. Dr. Emmett Brown: Ronald Reagan? The actor? [chuckles in disbelief] Dr. Emmett Brown: Then who's VICE-President? Jerry Lewis? [rushing out and down a hill toward his laboratory] Dr. Emmett Brown: I suppose Jane Wyman is the First Lady! Marty McFly: [following Doc] Whoa! Wait! Doc! Dr. Emmett Brown: And Jack Benny is Secretary of the Treasury. Marty McFly: [outside the lab door] Doc, you gotta listen to me. Dr. Emmett Brown: [opens the door to the lab] I've had enough practical jokes for one evening. Good night, Future Boy! [closes the door leaving Marty outside] -Back to the Future Brig. Gen. Theodore Roosevelt Jr.: As best I can figure it, this is the wrong beach. They landed us about a mile and a quarter south of where we were supposed to land. We should be up there. The control boat must have been confused by the smoke from the naval bombardment. Col. Caffey: I agree with you, but what are we gonna do now? Our reinforcements and heavy equipment will be approaching in a very few minutes. What happens if they land at the right beach? Brig. Gen. Theodore Roosevelt Jr.: The reinforcements will have to follow us wherever we are. We're starting the war from right here. Head inland. We're going inland. - The longest day both book and movie Mayor Bates: [in Mayor Bates' office, where he is being questioned by Colonel Bella] Daryl, he wouldn't hurt a fly. I know my son, Colonel. He's not the guerrilla type. Colonel Ernesto Bella: According to records, Mayor... your son is a prominent student leader. Mayor Bates: Yes, well... he's a leader, but not in a violent or physical way. You see, Daryl... he's more of a politician, like his father. Colonel Ernesto Bella: A member of an elite paramilitary organization: "Eagle Scouts." Mayor Bates: Yes, but that's not military. If he's alive, he's scared, he's hungry... and he's just as anxious to avoid conflicts as you and me. He's not a troublemaker. Colonel Ernesto Bella: Then who is? Mayor Bates: ...It runs in some of the families. Colonel Ernesto Bella: [to an aide-de-camp] This community is indeed fortunate to have a shepherd like him. Mayor Bates: Well, I just want to see this thing through, Colonel. -Red Dawn Christopher Henderson: I'm doing this to protect the integrity of the government. Jack Bauer: The government has no integrity! "I address you tonight not as the President of the United States, not as the leader of a country, but as a citizen of humanity. We are faced with the very gravest of challenges. The Bible calls this day "Armageddon" - the end of all things. And yet, for the first time in the history of the planet, a species has the technology to prevent its own extinction. All of you praying with us need to know that everything that can be done to prevent this disaster is being called into service. The human thirst for excellence, knowledge; every step up the ladder of science; every adventurous reach into space; all of our combined modern technologies and imaginations; even the wars that we've fought have provided us the tools to wage this terrible battle. Through all of the chaos that is our history; through all of the wrongs and the discord; through all of the pain and suffering; through all of our times, there is one thing that has nourished our souls, and elevated our species above its origins, and that is our courage. The dreams of an entire planet are focused tonight on those fourteen brave souls traveling into the heavens. And may we all, citizens the world over, see these events through. God speed, a...(read more)
