About Me	Taught the WHS drumline for one season before moving away from Winterset IA for good, 1 year after graduating. Toured the USA with various bands for 5 years including with the Blue Stars Drum & Bugle Corps. Moved to Las Vegas to teach at various High Schools (Las Vegas HS, ElDorado HS, Foothill HS) and studied music and performed all around Vegas and the SW USA for about 4 years in various reggae and jazz groups. Performed as a freelance drummer on 14 different cruise ships from 2008-2016. Traveled to 76 countries visiting all 7 continents. While performing abroad, I moved to the Philippines and spent about 6 years teaching music at Far Eastern University and various high schools while also having my own private drum studio. I also taught English for 1 year at a South Korean academy while in Asia. While in the Philippines I recorded a number of albums, one of which was under contract by Sony BMG under the band name - Markus Highway. Also toured with Tropical Depression, an all original reggae band. Did various modeling for commercial and print ad including Nestle, Ligo Tuna and ABS-CBN. After moving back to the USA in 2016, I landed in L.A. and recorded some promotional material and did some gigs with a latin/reggae band for a few months before moving to Denver Colorado.
