About Me	I worked as a peace officer for 23 years. In 1983 I attended the FBI National Academy. My last law enforcement position was Sheriff of Crane County. I became an employee of Texas Mutual Insurance Company in 1996. I investigate workers compensation insurance fraud. In 1973 I married Becky Simpson, WHS class of 1972. We have 3 sons, Mykal, J. and Josh. In 1983 we adopted our daughter, Mindee. Mykal lives in College Station and owns a small construction company. Mykal is married and has 3 children, 2 boys and a girl. J. lives in Weatherford and is a Sergeant for DPS and works in their narcotics section. J. is married and has 3 daughters. Josh lives in Weatherford and is an Assistant Principal at the high school in Grandbury. Josh is married and has a son and two daughters. Mindee is married and lives in Little Elm where she is a stay at home Mom. She has a daughter and a son. Becky and I are both doing fine, but I have had some health problems over the past few years. In October of 2005 I started having some tightness in my chest during football games. Next thing I knew I was having bypass surgery. In July of 2007 I was diagnosed with prostrate cancer. I was fortunate that the cancer had not spread and with a surgical procedure the doctors were able to remove the cancer. Becky and I live on 12 acres where we raise miniature schnauzers. All of our children are happily married and have given us grandchildren. Life is good. Becky says it is good that we are slowing down as my “Flock of Guardian Angles” are getting tired. Due to my work and other things that have happened, I have lead a very colorful life. How many people do you know who have been ship wrecked and stranded on an island or who have caught a bear and brought it home?
