Dear classmates WHHS Class of 1965 will celebrate our 60th class reunion the weekend of April 11, 12, 13, 2025.
Tanners Lakeside will accommodate us both nights with. We will be in a private area Friday night with a buffet (approximately $22 per person), suitable for visiting, as we usually do on Fridays. Their bar will be available at each person's cost. They will have live music on the weekends on their patio for us to enjoy. On Saturday, they will seat us in a roped off area at the tiki bar outside with individual orders and the bar is there also. (see their website for photos and menus)
Pontoon boat tours will be available on Saturday for a 2 hour morning cruise from Harborside Restaurant over to Cypress Gardens. (website livingwatercruises.com) This cost would be approximately $32.10 per person. Afterwards we will reserve lunch at Harborside and place our own orders.
A walking tour(90minutes) of downtown will be offered by the museum for $15 each with a maximum of 15 people. This is suggested early in the day, starting between 8:00-9:00 a.m. Saturday.
Sunday morning, we will meet at the Golden Corral in a private room, near the gardens for breakfast.
Hotels available with group rates are the Holiday Inn & Hampton Inn, as usual. The group rates for next April will be between $139-$159. Currently prices are $172 for a weekend. You can always go online and find lower rates at other hotels.
