WHS Class of 1973! Join us Friday night, October 12, 2018, as we kick off our 45th Class Reunion at the Homecoming football game against Platte County H.S. The 7:00 game will be played at the NKC HS stadium ... just like the good ol' days! Afterwards, we’re celebrating at Paul and Jack’s in Northtown.
Don’t sleep in too late Saturday morning, October 13, because we take a guided tour of WHS at 11am sharp! • We'll take a GROUP PHOTO ON THE STAIRS, and you for sure won’t want to miss that (photographer will take orders for prints). • Following our walk down memory lane, we meet up at In-A-Tub for more reminiscing, which all leads up to our main event get-together at 6PM at THE SANDBOX on Barry Road (check out their menu - their food is the best), where we'll be entertained by Kim and the Gas Men, featuring our own Mike Helton! • Can't you hear that good ol' '70's music now?! • Large group photo at 7pm - don't be late, because we want you in our picture! • WE CAN’T WAIT TO SEE YOU for this fun reunion weekend! • Be sure to pass this info along to your WHS Class of '73 friends who might not be on Facebook - there are still a few....

Has it really been 40 years since we graduated from High School? Most of us are now grandparents, and while we have all taken different paths in life, we can come full circle back to our roots.
Please invite friends and family that graduated in the class of 1975 to the reunion. Despite the years, we should all reunite - even if it's out of nothing but curiosity!
There will be a band playing music from the 70s, with no cover charge. You can order your meals and drinks from the available menu.

Food is $8/per plate for an hors d'oeuvre buffet. Drinks are bar price (reasonable). Many thanks to Renee Barbosa Schultz-Williams for helping us get the room at no charge. Our class has a zero balance fund for future reunions. The Committee is discussing possible fundraising to help create a new fund to help with deposits, etc. for future events.

As of today, Monday 8/23/10 we have put down deposits to secure our event. We still have plenty of rooms available in our block that can either be reserved in advance by calling 816-471-3451 or reserved at the desk on both Friday and Saturday nights. Please mention Tonka Class of 75 to secure our rates. As of now the Hospitality Room will be available both Friday and Saturday nights.The room number is 164 but is subject to change until Friday afternoon so please verify at the front desk. We suggest those of you coming to please donate snacks, munchies, cheese, crackers, maybe pastries for those who will be there Sat. and Sun. morning, etc.. I will provide coffee for both mornings. We will have a sign in sheet in the Hospitality room both nights until we go down to the bar, then we'll take it with us. Saturday night we will have a table decorated in the bar. Please locate a committee member, pay your $15.00 per person and receive your name tag. The $15.00 will be payable for either Friday night, Saturday night or both. Only pay once for both nights. We have committee members who have fronted the funds to make this event happen for everyone and we need to make sure they are re-reimbursed. We are requesting that anyone who has the capability to make any signs, posters, banners, etc. please do so and either drop them off with a committee member or at the front desk. My compuuter is way too old to accomplish this. Thank you! We look forward to seeing each and every one of you this weekend and hope that you have a great time.

PLANS ARE DEFINITE! 1975 Graduating Class will be gathering for their 35 yr. class reunion August 28th at the American Inn in NKC, MO. The events start at 7:00pm to 11:00pm, with light hors d'oeuvres and drinks. Bring your yearbooks and we can have a blast from the past! If you're interested in staying at the hotel, get your reservations made now. Some of us are meeting Friday night and will gather for breakfast on Sunday morning reunion weekend.
