| About Me | I am Jacob L. Connelly, born on November 17, 1994, under the zodiac Scorpio, and in the city of Columbia, Tennessee. I lived in Columbia from my birth until the end of my kindergarten year, at which point in time my family and I moved to Hohenwald. In Hohenwald, I was schooled from first to ninth grade, and moved from Hohenwald to Kansas City half way from my ninth-grade year. I have had five siblings, and have four. I have had few friends, but cherish those I have as best I can. I have had few goals as of late, but strive to achieve those as best I can without failure, even if I don't strive to -excel- at achieving those goals. I have written... 116 original pieces of literature, 106 of which can be found on fictionpress.com, under the pen name Silver XIII. I have written... I don't know how many fanfiction, but am currently working on one, titled Wind and Water, which can be found on fanfiction.net, under the pen name Number III. Wind and Water is thus far my longest and most complete story, at 37,218 words (with seven chapters) and probably around 42,000 words with the release of chapter eight. I have played the Trombone in Band since my sixth-grade year, and, while not quite adept at it, have improved greatly over the past year and a half. I am currently a member of Winnetonka High School's Concert Band, which is full of players with differing levels of motivation. I dislike public speaking, being alone in crowds, noisy class-rooms, arrogant peers, ungrateful people, and anything that distracts me and/or antagonizes me in any way. I like writing poetry, running (even if certain circumstances inhibit my ability to do so for extended amounts of time, I try to ignore said circumstance as best I'm able), drawing (though I'm not very good), role-playing with my sister on one of my sites, gaming, polite people, and memories. "I have heard songs of sorrow, and wept with them, sung songs of anger, and regretted them. I have heard the sound of laughter, and remembered it; I have found the solace of self-belief and determination, and held on to it. I have made promises aplenty, and done my best to break none, but have still failed to keep them all. I am one of many, and yet I am ...(read more) |
