| About Me | Passionate about dogs and all animals. "Vegetarian, except for fish and the occasional steak--I LOVE steak!"(Hopefully some will remember from whence the quote derived.) Raised catholic; even tried being more involved & immersing myself in the church in my late 20's and early 30's. then I went back to college. I started studying everything that sounded interesting. And I realized that I didn't believe anything in the Catholic Church. I didn't believe in a mythical being -- a father figure on the sky -- Blake's "Nobodaddy." There I studied different religions, the more I realized they are all hokum. I've shed the need to believe that there is a puppet master pulling the strings. And I'm no longer afraid. That which was beaten into me by my insane parental units, particularly the mother unit, held no sway over me. I was free from what Blake called, "The mind forged manacles."
