Robert A. Pierce, 72, of Hammond, IN passed away Monday Feb. 17,2014. Robert was a proud U.S. Army veteran who served in Korea during the Viet Nam era. He retired from LTV Steel as an electrician.
He is survived by his children: Gary (Heidi) Pierce and Debbie Mitchell: grandchildren: Nolan, Brandi,(Darryl Sr.), Falon (Mike) and Quentin; great-grandchild Darryl Jr.; and brothers and sisters: Nila (Wayne) Hartlerode, Pat (Sue) Pierce, Arthur (Linda) Pierce and Doris (Bill) Del Magorie.
Robert was preceded in death by his brothers: Donald (Lucy) Pierce and Chester (Virginia) Pierce.
Family and friends will gather for a memorial service 6-8 p.m. Friday, Feb 28 at Castle Hill Funeral Home, 1219 Sheffield Avenue, Dyer, IN 46311.
