About Event
Marilyn Langton Myers volunteered along with friends Robert Smeltzer Heath, Dorthy Lewis, Corinne Crawford Reiels and Susan Robbins Kimbel to interface with the Fircrest Country Club. Corrine is in charge of obtaining the band or DJ. Others have committed to decorations and other tidbits to make for a perfect evening.
Here is what has been done:
Thursday night, September 4 – Impromptu get together in some neighborhood bar will be handled by Russ Francisco.
Friday afternoon, September 5 – Golf tournament will continue to be handled by Dave Fiorino, Keith Petteys, Rich Furse, Bill Smith and Mike Dorgan. Again, those who wish to golf please give us a heads up as making advance arrangements for this gets tricky with a big group. PLEASE!!!!!!!
Friday Evening, September 5 - “Ice Breaker” – Russ Francisco and I agreed to lock up Joe Stortini’s back room at Joeseppi’s on Pearl Street . Joe was very forthcoming, excited and dropped all deposit requirements for the event. Perfect!
Saturday Evening, September 6 – “50th Reunion ” at the Fircrest Golf Club. Details are being planned.
Sunday mid morning Farewell picnic, September 7 – Carl Teitge has reserved a spot at Titlow Park from about noon to 3PM.
