About Me	Kyoko is a bilingual (Japanese / English) Victim Advocate of Family Advocacy Program at the Joint Base Lewis-McChord (“JBLM”). During the early years of her career, she worked for numerous international corporations around the Greater Seattle-Tacoma area as an international sales and marketing coordinator, and she gained extensive industrial experience in international logistics. After nearly eleven years of dedicated effort in the field of international business, she began seeking a new chapter in her life. She obtained the ABA-approved Paralegal Preferred Pro-Certificate from Tacoma Community College in June 2006. While she was working toward her certification, she was employed as a Family Law Paralegal at LMN Law Office in Sumner, WA. This opportunity became an eye-opener to her, and she realized how much she enjoyed directly working with people and their real life issues. She wishes to continue empowering people in her community by sharing her experiences and knowledge. She served as the DV Shelter Coordinator / Legal Advocate for the Korean Women’s Association located in Tacoma, Washington for three years and successfully graduated from the Y2011-12 People of Color & Native People's Leadership Academy sponsored by Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence (“WSCADV”).
