George died after a short battle with cancer. He graduated from the UofO Honors College with a BA in Art History. His last 25 years were spent in San Francisco working as a tech writer. Preceded in death by his mother, Ruth. He is survived by his father and sister, Betsy Stevens Howe, Wilson class of 1969.
