About Pulaski, PA - Bernice Jeanne Boyer, age 73, of Pulaski, Pennsylvania, went to be with her Lord and Savior, the morning of Oct. 28, 2025.

Born Nov. 25, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Melroy Max and Mary Lou (Miller) Minich.

Bernice was a graduate of Wilmington High School.

She worked at Challenges-Options in Aging as an administrative assistant.

Benice enjoyed playing cards and crafting. She loved Harley rides and traveling. Above all her hobbies and interests, what Bernice cherished most in life was spending time with her family and friends.

She was a faithful member of New Bedford Evangelical Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include one son, Dakota "Cody" (Carrie Reese) Boyer of Pulaski, Pennsylvania; one brother, David Minich of Youngstown, Ohio; one sister, Janice Van Horn of Canal Winchester, Ohio; her beloved partner of over eight years, Alan "Oscar" Speer; two grandchildren, Conner and Cooper Boyer; and several nieces, nephews, friends and extended family members.

In addition to her parents, Bernice was preceded in death by her late husband, Gerald 'Gert' Boyer; brother, Dennis Minich; and sister, Nancy Doyle.

Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31, at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle, and 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, from at New Bedford Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 151 Woodland Drive, Pulaski, PA, 16143.

A funeral service will take place Saturday, Nov. 1, at the church immediately following visitation, with Pastor John Fraser officiating.

A private burial for family will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
