Mark was a Ham Radio operator with his call sign, "WA8VLP." He had a passion for electronics and music and was a former Boy Scout.
Mr. Murphy was an employee for the Lake County Department of Utilities at the Aquarius Water Treatment Plant and was formerly employed at Cyberex.
He was the loving father of Amy K. (Steven) Welman of North Canton and Kelly S. Murphy of North Canton; dear son of Geralda (nee Bishop) Murphy; brother of Melody (Gordon) Morgan and Maureen (Jim) Nicholl; and uncle of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Addison Murphy.
